When will we able to EDIT our own SHOUTS/reviews ?

Hi - I recently " joined " this awesome place, and for now I actually have only one question : I like to review, and in doing so I just managed to put up a shout ( Sandy Denny ) in exactly 1000 characters ( of course this will never happen again... ) - and I made one mistake. Not being able to simply edit it. Am I right in this, or overlooking something? Thx and peace - Johannes.

Who Knows Where The Time Goes - we gasp at eachother in passin' by on a rainy day ( OMG, look at these gray hairs - I'm so ******* glad I painted mine... ) and sitting home alone we cry, we waste our tears for all that was not and all that never will be. Sandy Denny is one of the few who makes can make as humble as if you never did exist. She doesn't "waste" any time in preparing you for schockwaves. As she opens her mouth you will be... still... You quickly grasp the sense of a bigger than life realm - the realm of an almost unbearable melancholy. Yet you have lived - so you say. Then what is this feeling Sandy Denny appeals to? My friend - it is transcendance : not by a huge cloud of synthesizers, not by a degenerating Wall Of Sound - no; by a human voice, it could have been anyone living nearby around the corner of any street - but that simply wasn't meant to be. Yes, there will be others - I know. But the grace of Fall is here - and again for now Sandy Denny is inescapable.
  • There's no way to edit shouts - apart from deleting them and entering them again. Considering the shoutbox is primarily designed for messages that are only a few sentences long, this is unlikely to change.

If you want to write reviews for an artist or release, you may find it better to write a journal and link to the artist/track/release.

    I concur.
  • The way you "edit" shouts is to copy the old one to the clipboard, delete it, paste the clipboard to a new shout and then edit it.

Of course, any BBCode will be lost in the transition, so it's not without its drawbacks.

Yes - thx _Tarkus_, I figured that out. Will use your solution of copying and pasting. Peace - J.
