Yeah, that Someday video was bad ass, with Julian calling out to some noisy audience members. He calls them 'motherfuckers' then he shushes them That's bad ass.

I think it's ok. To cover that song shows that Artic Monkeys respect The Strokes. They don't pretend to be better, they just play it because they like it and possibly The Strokes is one of their influences. So cool. Is an homenage to Strokes.

Its so crap, the guitar sound in the arctic monkeys sounds so shit... and they even fuck up in second time round... and his voice sucks, no where near julian

arctic monkeys LOVE strokes, but they sound nothing like them. i can understand they want to take a stab at it (as you would, its such a great song/band) but it just comes far more easily to the strokes. the style is simply too different for this to ever work.

besides did anyone forget that they are from north england and the strokes are american?
