Ettore Rigotti, an Italian with a home studio, founded Disarmonia Mundi in the first months of the year 2000. After many initial line-up changes the band successfully recorded Nebularium, the first full length album, which was completely self-produced by Ettore in his home studio. The band members featured on the recording were: Benny Bianco Chinto, Ettore Rigotti, Simone Palermiti and Mirco Andreis. The good response allowed the band to sign a contract with Self for Italian distribution and with Cd-Maximum for the Russian market. Unfortunately line-up problems prevented live performances to support “Nebularium” and slowed down the process of recording the forthcoming album.
The only survivors from the former line-up, Ettore Rigotti and Mirco Andreis, were joined by the new screamer Claudio Ravinale and together they began to work on new material. The ex-singer, Benny Bianco Chinto wrote new lyrics and composed new vocal lines for the album. The resulting promo gave Disarmonia Mundi the opportunity to sign with Scarlet Records.
Determined to release another completely self-produced album, the band began the process of recording new material once again at Ettore’s home studio. Meanwhile, they got in contact with frontman Bjorn “Speed” Strid {Soilwork/Terror 2000/Coldseed} who showed interest in the music of the band. The idea of a collaboration started as a joke but soon became reality when Speed joined the band for the recording of the vocals of their second album entitled “Fragments Of D-Generation”.

I'm pretty sure they're completely done with preproduction and are now at Ettore's studio recording the thing for real. Should be out by spring '09...

Yep, he definately fit in the band. I'd say his best performances are here, even better than in Soilwork. But I have faith in Claudio, he's pretty good. You people should check 5 Star Grave to hear him more -> http://www.last.fm/music/5+star+grave

Speed definitely did fit into the band. Multiple vocal layers by Claudio, Ettore and Speed = Fucking awesome! \,,/

Speed was never in the band, he was just singing in two albums, and that's all. There is no new singer, Claudio and Ettore only, who have been on earlier albums also. And in Mind Tricks Speed sings only like 30% of the vocals. And I think it's good that Speed isn't there, he just didn't fit. Btw check out Disarmonia Mundi's forum if you are interested about the singer-thing. http://forums.hmas.org/forumdisplay.php?f=171

Heh, Speed left them? What a pity.. anyway I don't really care xD Nebularium is awesome album, and Speed's coming somehow changed their direction. Whatever they'll choose to do, they'll ROCK (but if they'll follow Nu Flames then they won't rock =/ )

No more Strid? Damn that sucks. They'll probably still be good, but I doubt they will remain just as awesome as the past two albums

speed left because he wants to concentrate on his other projects and groups (mainly soilwork) but i think that wasn't the right decision....
