Pop-Rock is a broad subgenre of pop music. It takes elements of power pop atmosphere and overall structure and blends them with rock instrumentation and basis: thus making a harder power pop sound often incorporated by several bands and is included in the popular term of “emo” in recent years, correct or not. Many bands can be considered the genre, ranging from Anberlin, Green Day, The Get Up Kids, Superbus and tons of other bands.
