Thanks for beeing friendly! In fact I am looking for the possibility to create some music myself. i love the sound of bass, so maybe I'll start with some software and maybe a bass. There are very good pages with lessons out there, so why not give it a try? Have to win some multi poker tourneys before go shoping :P

Not much "in common" but I'll try to make a change. Why don't we have 23Skidoo, Cabaret Voltaire, Einsturzene Neubauten and Section25 in comen to? Oldies but Goddies :D, and all of it is not classified as Techno But I Guess "Mr. Overdrive" know about some of them. Take a read and listen to 23 Skidoo. Who made themselvs able to combine a lot of different styles. At least tecno and hip hop. I still love it. keep up you're good work! I'll started checking out newer artists and labels Today! Am I beeing manipulated? :-o

About Me

The label Love OD was set up by Per Martinsen in 1995 aiming to release homegrown Norwegian electronic dance music that previously didn’t have any proper outlet. Already a few Norwegian artists had started to make names for themselves through sporadic releases on European and UK labels, but no local channel had so far been available. After releasing Mental Overdrive’s debut album “Plugged”, and its bastard sibling “Unplugged” shortly after, Bjørn Torske’s first solo-work was picked up and released under the moniker Krisp the following year. In 1997 the much missed nu-disco-pioneer Tore Kroknes aka Erot’s first two tracks was put out through Love OD’s sub disco-label Footnotes. In the years that followed, Love OD operated as a production basecamp for the projects Illumination and Mental Overdrive, but mainly kept licensing most releases through other international labels. In 2003, new vinyl releases from Mental Overdrive and The Hex Pistols surfaced, and Frost’s album “Melodica” was released in Europe in co-operation with FrostWorld Recordings. The last few years have seen the label in close relationships with fellow Norwegian labels Smalltown Supersound and Full Pupp for “physical” output, while handling worldwide digital output now remains Love OD’s main activity. Out now is the brand new Mental Overdrive album “You are being manipulated”, available digitally through all major stores via Love OD and released on CD through Smalltown Supersound. New releases by The Hex Pistols, The Oscillators and other exciting stuff are coming up shortly, so watch this space.
