About Me
radio dj - i have a weekly 3 hour broadcast on WZBC 90.3 FM ostensibly dedicated to detroit techno but veering in the occasional random direction dictated by whatever or whoever i have brought with me
software engineer - i have a very interesting work history, including companies large and small, at levels as low as circuit design and as high level as interpreted languages. my resume is here.
food - my wife thinks i am an amazing cook and i do all i can to keep up the illusion. there are some things i especially like to make from scratch that most people don't: bbq, beer, pasta sauce are among them
music - in addition to dj'ing, i play flute. i am attempting to learn bass guitar, and would like to learn the chapman stick as well.
capoeira - i've been studying and playing capoeira for the past year and a half. my apelido is pirata which means 'pirate.' My group's website is http://capoeirageraisusa.com and we are always open to new students.
